beauty

i realize that my idea of beauty is totally whitewashed.

jesus. i really never thought about it until i started following a few blogs of girls from different countries. i went through their pages and looked at their ideas of beauty. then i looked at the page on my blog i have tagged “beauty”, and I was like, wtf, self? white faces everywhere.

and i have always thought that i was open minded and appreciated diversity. but you know what. i think even if i think of myself as open, i really have sooo far to go.

i’m gonna work on that. because i really do appreciate beauty in every form, color, race, religion, etc… and i feel like my understanding, and then my tumblr, needs to reflect that a lot more.
